Juvé & Camps has once again made its mark with the launch of its Reserva de la Familia Rosé. This new creation is not just a sparkling wine, it is a rosé reinterpretation of its most legendary label, a tribute to tradition with a daring touch that defies convention.
Juvé & Camps has just launched a ‘traditionally original’ sparkling wine, the Reserva de la Familia Rosé. It is a Brut Nature Gran Reserva that goes one step further, and which aims to be ‘a tribute to our essence, to the profound knowledge of the terroir, to the mastery in the art of blending and to the perseverance that a long ageing process demands’. According to Meritxell Juvé, fourth generation of the family that founded the century-old cellars and CEO of the company, the Reserva de la Familia Rosé seeks to ‘rewrite the history of rosé’ and, at the same time, invites us to discover ‘a new facet of the sparkling universe’. Meritxell Juvé states that ‘it is a sensory experience that marks a turning point in the conception of sparkling wine from the Penedès for Juvé & Camps, and symbolises the non-conformist and innovative spirit, while preserving the respect and admiration for the tradition established over generations’.
Made with the varieties xarel-lo, pinot noir and red grenache from our own vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils. Aged for a minimum of 30 months, it is certified organic and suitable for vegans.
The new cuvée maintains the rebellious and innovative character of the Sant Sadurní winery, which intensifies its clear commitment to Xarel-lo, the white grape that is the identity of the Penedès region and the protagonist of its blend. This variety, famous for its ageing capacity, is the key to long-ageing sparkling wines. The blend is enriched with Garnacha, which adds seductive notes of crisp red fruit, and Pinot Noir, which adds structure and complexity.
