LAN's icon wine receives 97 points and a Platinum medal at the Decanter Awards.

With 97 points and a Platinum medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2024, CULMEN 2019 adds a new recognition to its impeccable record to date, which includes distinctions such as 94 points awarded by Tim Atkin, 93 points from Wine Spectator, 98 points from the Gourmets Guide, and the Magnificent Award from the Vivir el Vino 2024 Guide, which recognises it as the best red wine in Spain. In addition, CULMEN 2019 was one of only twelve Spanish wines selected in the World's Best Sommeliers' Selection, whose tasting panel brought together twenty sommeliers from restaurants on the list of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.

CULMEN is the jewel in the crown of Bodegas LAN and expresses its maximum culmination. Made with Tempranillo and Graciano, from vines over 60 years old, selected from the El Rincón vineyard of the emblematic Viña Lanciano vineyard. With a very intense cherry red colour, it presents aromas of blueberries, ripe cherry and blackcurrant with hints of undergrowth, mint, black pepper and cinnamon on a floral background, intensified by the presence of the Graciano, which provides great aromatic complexity. The palate is powerful, ample, structured, with pleasant tannins that blend with the fruity aromas, and a pleasant, long finish. The 2019 vintage, which has recently been released, has an RRP of €49.95.
