Cérvoles Celler has introduced a renewed version of its previous Colors Blanc and Colors Negre wines, emphasizing their origin from Les Garrigues to highlight their distinctive terroir.

The new branding, that applies to the 2023 vintage, aims to express the uniqueness that emerges from small vineyard plots nestled among forests. This identity is further enhanced by the impact of climate change, which leads to lower yields and allows for more meticulous and exclusive winemaking practices.

The updated label for Colors de Les Garrigues seeks to draw attention to the meticulous detail of a wine that evolves towards greater finesse, while maintaining the rigorous quality standards that define it.

The ecological awareness of these wines, already certified as such, extends to their biodynamic and regenerative farming practices. This is also reflected in the lighter bottle, which is 200 grams less than before, and in the use of sustainable materials for the packaging and inks, all aimed at reducing the carbon footprint.

Colors Blanc, crafted from Macabeu, Albariño, and Chardonnay varieties, offers aromas of white, citrus, and tropical fruits. On the palate, it is fresh yet creamy, with a marked acidity that prolongs the tasting experience.

Colors Negre focuses more on the indigenous Garnacha variety, refined through careful work with Cabernet Sauvignon to avoid excessive tannins, and complemented with Merlot to add smoothness. The grapes are harvested earlier to prevent excessive alcohol content, and the gentle extraction and maceration processes result in a fresh, elegant wine with fruity notes and hints of the aromatic herbs that grow nearby.

Cérvoles Celler, established in 1997, is the first mountain viticulture project in Catalonia. Located in a rugged Mediterranean forest landscape, it comprises 35 vineyard plots planted between 659 and 728 meters above sea level, covering 55 hectares in total.
