Bodegas Lan, at the International Conference ‘OPEN-GPB2024’ of the Vine and Wine Science Institute.

Bodegas LAN supports the International Conference on Grapevine Physiology and Biotechnology (Open-GPB2024) taking place in Logroño from 7 to 11 July 2024. Organised by the Instituto de las Ciencias de la Vid y el Vino, the event focuses on the physiology and biotechnology of the vine, with the aim of understanding the physiological responses of the vine in its interaction with the environment, as well as addressing the development of new technologies in the face of the challenges imposed by climate change and the need to use sustainable viticultural practices.

Bodegas LAN is sponsoring this important international forum, which brings together some 230 experts from all over the world, serving its wines at the welcome cocktail and lunches offered to the participants during the 8th and 9th of July, as well as having an exhibition table during the congress.

The Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ICVV) is a research centre founded by the Government of La Rioja, the Higher Council for Scientific Research and the University of La Rioja. It is the only national institute devoted entirely to research in viticulture and oenology.
